Unknown Depths

You do not know the depth I possess,
Nor the depth that possesses me.
Boundless and pure, but quite unknown,
All fear that which they cannot see.

What I seek is not all-encompassing,
But it is all-enduring.
A bond need not look any certain way.
Any lasting bond is as valuable as the next.

So few are so close to grabbing hold
They need but only to reach for it.
Heavily guarded from most,
Begging to be taken by the rest.
