It’s the appointed hour.
Now every time that I rhyme
I’m taking back my power.

You made me think I was broken
When you played the victim so well
So many falsehoods were spoken
So let’s have some truth for a spell.

You shamed me for my emotion
You made me think myself crazy
But now I’ve got forward motion
And the memories of you are hazy

Every time you threatened to jump
It was me who took the fall.
I’m so glad that you, I chose to dump
Otherwise you’d have taken it all.

Maybe take a step back
Think about it in the shower
