Maddening it is to adore you so.
There is no way I could ignore you though.
Merciful though, it would surely have been

Sometimes though, even kindness can be cruel.
The heart unwinds slowly from the spool.
What an agonizing torture this be…
Being still close to you and you to me.

Never would I trade away this sweet pain
